I was never able to get his product to work correctly. Colby’s web site did not have much in the way of troubleshooting support. Their telephone customer support was very poor. It took a number of tries to get through - after waiting about 5 minutes, they would drop the line. So I had to start all over.
When I finally reached customer support, they emailed me directions on how to reformat the device. This seemed strange given that I was pretty sure it was a hardware problem. But it got me off the phone quickly. That did not work.
I ended up returning it.
5 Stars Awesome Product.
I bought this for my fiance’ for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. He said that it was really easy to work and get song downloaded from his laptop to the MP3 Player. It goes with him where ever he goes.
1 Star Buyer beware
The day this item was received it broke…very disappointed. Was excited to receive item, opened package and plugged it into my computer to charge, after 6 hours, unplugged it from computer and the back cover popped off - returned item for full refund - I had never heard of the Coby Brand, from now on, I will only purchase well-known brands. Purchase cheap, get cheap.

1 Star Disappointing
I had high expectations for this mp3 player, but from the start, the screen froze continuously. It would turn off in the middle of a song and I had to constantly reset it. Finally, even resetting didn’t work. The menu keys would not come up and so I finally gave up and returned it. Thanks for nothing Coby.
