5 Stars Comfort & Great Sound
I purchased this based on other reviews. One stated that they forget it was on their ear, I have to agree with this. I have found myself driving and then realizing that I never took it off after my last phone call. This has happened repeatedly. People understand me when I am calling from my car, and most important, I can hear them. I even had to turn down the volume on my phone. My last BT was a good model from a name brand, but was always frustrating to use. Don’t let the size of this fool you, it is great!
4 Stars Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth
I have been using bluetooth devices over the past 4 years and have owned several devices. This is the second 510 I have purchased due to the clairity and durability of the product. I also have a hard time keeping other devices on my ear and the wrap around design is what I have found works best for me. The only draw back is the bulk or thickness of the base but worth the trade off.
5 Stars Work so good!
Works so much better than my last one!!! almost gave up on bluetooths, thanks so much.
5 Stars Plantronics Voyager 510
This is one of the best bluetooth I have ever used. It can be used for the many hours and very clear in sound. I have used other plantronics, but this model seems to be a fit for me.
3 Stars Plantronics Headset
This headset has very good sound, but is hard to put on though once on, stays put pretty well. The on/off button is incredibly small

1 Star motorola h350 bluetooth headset
I don’t like it - I had other motorola bluetooth models in past that were much better. This one takes several steps to link to the phone each time I want to use it (instead of just being able to press one button on the headset). Also there is background noise sometimes. Also, voice activated commands often don’t work.
2 Stars Meh… just ok for the money
The product is cheap, and you definitely get what you pay for. The volume on my unit was just fine for me. I did receive complaints from the people I was calling saying that they couldn’t hear me which was a pain. My biggest complaint however is the way it “wobbles” on my ear. Since there is no ‘inner-ear’ speaker, it’s free to move around if you suddenly turn your head when changing lanes on the freeway or any other quick jerk. This was the biggest problem for me because I used it 80% of the time on the road, and when I need to change lanes I don’t want to feel like my headset could fall off.
2 Stars Basic headset, questionable volume.
A basic headset, probably overpriced as originally listed. I received mine as a “free” incentive with a phone purchase some time back. Was worth that price!
But beware - this headset has inadequate volume with Samsung phones. While it pairs fairly easily, the sound volume is such that it is unusable.
4 Stars Good seller
The seller is very understanding and patient, I would definitely buy from them again. Good product. Very fast shipping.
5 Stars I like it
I wanted a headset for my ps3/cell phone, so I started shopping around. I usually don’t buy third party equipment for video games, but I read that the PS3 headset really didn’t do anything special and it was a quite a bit more expensive. I went with the Motorolla because of the price and because it has decent battery life and bluetooth 2.0.
So far everything works as expected. It was a little difficult to set up (even with the instruction), but once I got the hang of it (and understand what all the different beeps mean) it’s easy as pie. Sound quality is better than I expected, and I have never had any problems with people understanding me.

3 Stars Excelent headset, but the shipping was inefficient
You can buy this product, the headset has a very good sound quality. The only problem went the estimated delivered date from USPS, were four days late in delivering the headset.
4 Stars So here’s the deal…
I talk on the phone for like an hour every night with my girlfriend, and i used to just lie there and hold the phone. the ear piece has been great in the sense that i can now DO things [clean my room etc.] while talking on the phone. its also great while driving to and from work. although the site says it ranges up to 33 feet, it doesnt. it works for me cuz i keep my phone in my pocket, but it does get staticy when you move more than 6 feet from the cell.
any questions, comments? email me at dhssanchez@gmail.com

5 Stars Plantronics Explorer 330 Bluetooth
I ordered one for myself and one for our teenage daughter, so we could drive hands-free. I’ve also enjoyed wearing it around the house so I can get things done and talk at the same time. My daughter and I both have small ears, but it fits very well. I can hear well and whomever I’m talking to has been able to hear very well.
The only complaint I have is that sometimes it picks up sounds too well. For instance, if you’re filing papers, that sound may come across to the person you’re talking to a little too well, but for the price, I can definitely live with it.
My daughter & I both had been dissatisfied with our previous bluetooths and we have both been happy with this one.
2 Stars Catches all kinds of noise
When I talk to people using this headset they always complain about the background noise. Even if I am outside and there isn’t any noise other than the wind, they can hear the crackling wind noise.
I wanted to return the item, but I decided to keep it….just to use at home and in complete silence. But I was definitely dissapointed with the inability of this gadget to filter the background noise.
4 Stars Very good Bluetooth
I have been through a few Bluetooth units, I have had trouble with earfitting and comfort and price. I previously owned a Plantronics 220 that I purchased for $40. The fit was good, the volumne was too low. I am a 57 year old Jazz fan and drummer who like his music loud, therefore I am now a bit hard of hearing. That is another story. I tried a Motorola 560 and the earfit did not work. I saw the Plantronics 330 at a great price ($18+6 S+H) online and did some research about the earfit. It had the same earfit as the 220 which I liked. I ordered the 330 and after using it I was mostly pleased. The volumne was terrific, almost double the 220. I even had to turn it down a bit. It is easy to use and it has good battery time and the earfit is fine. The only drawback is the weight of the unit. The newest units are getting lighter, but, expensive and I am a cheap SOB. It takes a bit of time to get used to, but price versus function?……….Great deal and I see using it for a long time. I got my wife one also and she is also pleased.

4 Stars Great set
I have been using this product for years and highly recommend it. The wireless headset is first rate in terms of sound quality and range from base-station allowing for “walk and talk” across the whole office. I have yet to figure out how to get the handset lifter to fit my office phone, hence the missing star, but once I do I will be happy to update this review to reflect that.
4 Stars Easy to set-up, use, works great, can interfere w/ wireless net
This is a great product. Stable and clear for my entire condo (2000 sq ft, 3 stories)
It is easy to set-up and use.
I have had to adjust my wireless network channel a couple of times.
Occasionally, when turning on the headset, it would reset my dsl router.
I’m now on wireless channel 9 (2.452 MHz) and haven’t had an issue since switching to this channel.
5 Stars awesome!
I already use this headset, I loved mine so much I purchased this as a gift for a close friend, they are pretty darn awesome, can’t believe I worked without one for so long!
4 Stars Bundle is the way to go!
The CS55/HL10 Bundle is the way to go. I run a small medical clinic and am on the phone several hours a day. With the bundle, I can answer the phone from anywhere in the clinic, pull charts, and get back to speak with the staff . . . all with great clarity and excellent reception. A great tool for responsive customer service! I will be buying another bundle shortly for another staff member in the office!
1 Star Very Poor Sound Quality
I purchased this unit for work and was very disappointed with the sound quality. I had several people who I would talk to that complained that there was a buzzing noise. I also could not hear the other person very well if there was any sort of low background noise, TV, radio etc…I went back to my wired headset within a week. Needless to say, I sent this unit back.

3 Stars Great functionality; looks don’t compare to the Bold
T-Mobile is sticking to its guns with this one: consumer phones. While the functionality is certainly there, the look and feel of the 8900 doesn’t even come close to that of the Bold. The slightest finger print or stain makes the Curve look like a flimsy, underpowered tool. The keyboard feels cheap, and so do the trackball and other buttons. I switched to an unlocked Motorola A1200 because of T-Mobile’s underwhelming phone selection a few years ago, but this time I may very well switch carriers. If you want something more impressive, go with the Blackberry BoldBlackBerry Bold 9000 Phone, Black (AT&T).
5 Stars The smallest, lightest, and best Blackberry around.
HI All.
I have used a blackberry for over 10 years now…give or take. I have always been impressed by the devices they have created in the past and the current line of devices. Since I like to be on the bleeding edge of tech, I just had to get a 8900.
Most of you know by now what the new feature sets are of blackberries that are out today. The bold, the storm, and now this one The JAVELIN.
I wont go into too much detail but I will give you my quick run down.
The Javelin is perhaps the thinnest, lightest, small footprint blackberry that I have ever used. It sports a great look and the feel to the hands is awesome. It is after all the curve II. Screen comparison to the bold is that this unit has a higher resolution then the bold but a smaller physical screen. The higher resolution definitely adds some clarity to the screen…but it should be duly noted that the BOLD’s screen is also beautiful. Yes I own both.
The Javelin is a EDGE/Wi-FI device…it does not have 3G capabilities. Technically you only need 3G if you want to be on the phone and receive/send emails at the same time when using your mobile connections…I personally have never needed that functionality. However, please note that if you are connected to WI-FI you are able to be on a telephone call and receive/send email etc over wi-fi….works perfectly.
The Javelin has a new processor which makes the device FLY. Yes the processor is slower then the one in the Bold, but one can hardly tell the difference….I have used both for weeks…and I can honestly say you will not notice the speed difference.
I have a 8gb MicroSD card installed in the device and use the software available from blackberry to synchronize all of my DRM free music from iTunes to the Blackberry. A must buy if you want to carry one device that does it all. Amazon has great prices on micro-sd cards…..
Here are what I consider to be the best features on the Javelin:
1. AUTOFOCUS 3.2mp Camera - It is AWESOME. Picture taking, due to focus, is a bit slower….however, the clarity and quality of the picture make it all worthwhile.
2. FOOTPRINT - Great looking device with a great size.
3. High Resolution screen - Awesome clarity….
4. The functionality of a blackberry has always been a pro..and this one makes it better with a faster processor and more zippy feel.
The three BAD things:
1. The speaker on this thing is so TINNY….that it hurts my ears with certain tones…..there is NO bass what so ever. That is to be expected in a device this small….so maybe some new tones need to be tested out.
2. Micro-USB - Why take something like mini-usb and replace it with something new. Now I have to get all new chargers, travel chargers, etc…. Upsetting but bareable.
3. The holster in the BOX is simply a pleather pouch of sorts…no belt clip etc… You will need to buy an aftermarket leather/plastic holster if you wish to attach to your belt. Not a deal breaker…but should be mentioned.
I am posting some images for your review also.
Overall this is a great 5 Star Device.
3 Stars T-Mobile 8900 Review–Mediocre Voice Quality Mars Otherwise Good Performance
I have now had a few days to check out the new T-Mobile Blackberry 8900. I will be comparing my most recent Blackberry, a T-Mobile 8800.
Good Points:
1. Nice screen; very good resolution; and good readability. Good for viewing attached documents.
2. Nice industrial design and small form factor.
3. Wifi (but it seems much slower than the Iphone or an old T-Mobile Dash I have around the house).
4. Pretty good camera. There is considerable shutter lag; but the photos are fair. Note that I cannot seem to be figure out how to turn off the annoying shutter sound. I tend to use a camera phone for reminders of a product or article that interested me. The shutter may be required by law in some locations; but I don’t think it’s required where I live.
5. Audible works a bit better. I am an Audible fan. (I also download audio books from Net Library, but they require a protected WMA format, which the 8900 does not support). I finally can downloads audio books directly to the device. There are still glitches, such as updating the My Library list, but it improved from essentially “non-functional” to “somewhat usable”.
6. UMA–T-Mobile’s voip option, worked quite well. Voice quality was so so (probably device limited) but setup was simple and it seems to work at various wifi sites without use of minutes or special hardware. I am excited to try this in Japan and on other international trips.
7. 3.5 mm headphone jack, started with the original Curve. Quite good sound though my headphones.
Not So Good Points:
1. Mediocre voice quality. My 8800 had exceptional voice quality. It was better than my Cisco Voip phone at work. The voice quality of the internal speaker for the 8900 is not nearly so good. I found myself continuously re-positioning the phone vis-a-vis my ear to try and hear better. This is a big problem; and makes me think about returning it rather than suffering through a year of poor voice calls. I have been with T-Mobile for seven years or so in the Chicago area (from right after Voicestream came to town). I find their service much better than AT&T and Verizon and rivaled only by Sprint (this may sound funny, but it is my experience). Anyway, this is probably the worst voice quality I have had on any of several Blackberry phones.
2. No 3G. May not mean so much for routine Blackberry functions, which are highly compressed, but for web browsing or downloads, lack of 3G is a big minus.
3. Annoying change from mini-usb to micro usb for device connections. I have several devices, such as M3P players and another phone that use mini-usb; now I need to have another cord just for the 8900 and buy some extra chargers and cords for when I travel. I note that the media-sync was much faster on the 8900 than my 8800. I don’t know if this is because of better software, drivers or the micro usb (versus mini usb).
4. Annoying, audible phone dialing sound. In normal and other non-silent profiles, there is an annoying and very audible rapid dial sound that everyone around you can hear. My convoluted work around, found on line, is to use vibrate mode, and then have it ring. This is silly and annoying. It is representative of the settings limits for this phone that seriously detract from individual usability and customization.
5. The included case is a definite letdown. It is too small, leaving the top 1/2 inch of the device uncovered. It is too tight, making the phone tough to extract when answering a call, and there is not a belt clip.
6. Web browser–still bad. Bookmarks are a pain, locked in to useless T-Mobile sites, and browsing is not so good. I loaded Opera Mini but it doesn’t seem to be well integrated. This may be the side effect of using an Iphone; by comparison the 8900 browser, even tough introduced more than a year after the Iphone, is so poor.
7. Reception seems to be worse than the 8800. It is difficult to compare exactly, but it seems that reception at home and work is a notch worse than my 8800. Not as bad as an Iphone, though, on AT&T.
4 Stars Gorgeous screen; case is too small
I purchased this phone a couple of days ago and am going to keep it. I was using a Blackberry Curve 8320 prior to my purchase of the 8900. First impressions: 1) gorgeous screen; it is the reason I made the switch from the 8320; web pages load up without a glitch; 2) the keys are closer together and not as comfortable or easy to use as the keys on the 8320; they are not bad, though, and I’ve easily gotten used to them; 3) the ‘pocket’ case that came with the phone is too small; I know that the Blackberry cases tend to fit snug upon first use, but this case is incredibly tight; I have to use so much pressure to push it in and pull it out that I fear I will break the Blackberry.
1 Star Dont buy Blackberry
Blackberry does not honor their warranty. If you must get one, buy insurance. The USB connection breaks because of poor design. I have had two fail. One had insurance, the other did not. Blackberry claims that this does not happen and WILL charge you $180. There is no escalation. I got the device back with a broke screen and no battery (new one too). Poor design, poor software, and the worst customer support. You have been warned.
