I’ve had this battery for three weeks now and it works great. It was delivered only 4 days after ordering and although the first charge seemed to take forever, now it works just like my old battery when it was new. The best thing though is the price!

At&T retail store wanted me to pay $40 - $50 for
a replacement battery. The sales lady wasn’t exactly
sure of the price but she thought that $40 -$50 was the
price range. I said, “No Way - I would rather get a
new phone than pay that amount.”
I saw this product and for the price, I jumped on it. It
works perfectly. Now I laugh everytime I go by the AT&T
Retail store. It pays to shop around.

I ordered several items from Bargaincell in March 2008. I ordered the BR50 and a 3 piece combo of battery chargers. The chargers consisted of a desktop, vehicle, and ac plug in. The chargers are all fine and an outstanding value. The battery is another matter. It appears to be authentic when comparing it with the OEM battery. When I charged it and put it in the telephone the charge never lasted more than two days. If I made any calls on the phone, the battery would last maybe a day. Since the cost was $4.65 plus $2.98 for shipping I thought it would be a waste of time to send it back. The battery has four contacts. At this time I do not know if the B50 has two or three cells inside. I checked the contacts with a volt ohms meter after charging the battery fully. One of the contacts showed no charge. The OEM battery showed all contacts providing a charge. This indicates a defective manufacture or a poor counterfeit. I decided to keep the thing and use it to save the new OEM battery. After using this battery for about 9 months another problem surfaced. The battery lid on the telephone started to pop off. The lid would not click and close properly. I was going to return the phone to Motorola within the warranty period because the battery lid would not close properly. After about two months of this aggravation, I took out the Bargaincell “bargain” and put the OEM battery back in the phone. I was surprised to find the battery lid fitting perfectly on the phone again. Carefully examining the Bargaincell battery revealed a slight bulge in the center on the top label side. This company is selling a piece of garbage. Is the battery a factory reject or a counterfeit? Only Bargaincell knows.

I bought 2 extra rechargeable batteries for my razor and neither one of them would keep my phone charged for more than a day. The problem may have been with my razor which was two years old and not the battery, but I am not sure. The batteries are not a bad deal at $4 each, so it could be a cheap way to get more battery life out of your phone but be prepared for it to not work. I ended up buying a new phone less then a month later.

1 Star Not worth the price
I should have returned this upon receipt but tried too long to make it worth using. The firmware was NOT upgraded as stated in the video for American use… it still has Chinese references that can’t be understood. The menu options are not fully functional and there is no way to organize music beyond what the system allows (music appears as added…period). I watched the review video several times before ordering this item and thought it would replace my ipod. I’m stuck with it because the time to return it has expired. I won’t order anything from this manufacturer again.

I bought it for my 11 year old and he thinks it is so cool. It is a nice little machine for him as this is only his second. He can take some shots of him and his friends and it feels like a ipod touch to him. This one also came with a virus on it so be careful. For the price I would say pretty good overall

The technology behind this device is wonderful. I having trouble with the features which comes with it such as the touch capability. I find it hard to select an option, this mal-function had me going loco. because when i want to play the next song i have to touch the play button instead of forward button. Otherwise the audio is nice, camera is fair, and other such feature is wonderful.

The battery was received but worked for less than two weeks. The batteries sold by this company do not appear to be new so don’t waste your money.

Battery arrived on time, but it was worse than the battery i was replacing. Didn’t last — I’m not amused with this service. Seller is not delivering what is advertised. The ad says “New” and this was clearly NOT new.
