5 Stars Great product for a great price
Got the flashdrive, which hasn’t crashed on me yet and isn’t loaded with a bunch of software, for a great price. No complaints.

5 Stars Big capacity…Small price
This has been a terrific tool for transporting information, graphics, etc. without having my computer with me all the time. The Data Traveler fits in my pocket and goes along with me wherever I travel. I can plug it into any computer anywhere and transfer or view the contents of the flash drive. It’s very convenient.

4 Stars Kingston 16gb DataTraveler
Not too much to say as it is what is, a USB 2.0 flash drive. It works great, as do most other Kingston memory products I have used. Two things I would change (read - things I didn’t like):

1)The LED that lets you know when the drive is in use is barely visible (partly from poor placement, and partly from being quite dim,) and only flashes when data is being transferred. It would be nice if the LED had a steady slow flash rate to acknowledge that is is connected to the computer…just in case you are having some sort of computer issue and need verification that it is connected (or was somehow disconnected,) then when transferring data it would switch to a rapid flash rate.

2) It would’ve been nice if the pocket in the top of the drive for attaching a lanyard (which was not included) were deeper. I happen to have a lanyard laying around from another drive and I struggled threading it through the pocket. A deeper pocket would’ve made the action much simpler.

Outside of these two things, I believe it to be an excellent product that I should have in service for many years. You can’t go wrong with Kingston products!

3 Stars Good Value but lacks performance.
I was looking for a flash drive at a good price with lots of memory. This one fit the bll. However, my ultimate plan for the drive was to run Linux from it. It appears this drive is too slow to run an OS or at least the Ubuntu version of Linux. I have not tried Mac on a stick. I have a 4gb Sandisk Ready Boost drive that runs this version of Linux just fine.

The drive comes with no built in software so I downloaded the docking software from portable apps. I run many programs from this drive such as Open Office, Firefox, Thunderbird, Gimp, and Defraggler. I also store several ebooks and audio books.

5 Stars Really good value
This drive has performed just great. The price was favorable and it’s a really good value. I’m very pleased with it.

5 Stars Works great, is black (instead of dumb white).
Just wish it was free like the 2009 Sony deck I just purchased for my GF’s car…it was already attached to the deck and didn’t cost an extra $20+

5 Stars great
I purchased this unit along with a Pioneer DEH P3001 cd receiver and this is a winning combination it does every thing that they claim. you can control your i pod from the unit or from your i pod itsef.

4 Stars good
item was sent on time and it works. although it only seems to work with the new versions of the ipod and not the first gens

5 Stars 12 Bucks?!
This cable was 35 dollars when I bought and I still don’t regret paying what I did. It’s a sturdy cable and hasn’t let me down yet. I use it with the Pioneer DEH P3000IB and the only complaints I have are with the stereo’s controls, not the cable. The sound is great and at it’s current price the cable is definitely worth the money.

3 Stars Great to connect the ipod but mine does not charge the ipod
I was pleased with the cable as when I bought my pioneer receiver and my ipod I did not knwo this cable existed. I was excited to find out about it and had it installed right away. I was thrilled until the ipod stopped working, and then I found out that in my set up the receiver does not charge the ipod. When I connect the ipod the ipod screen says “charging is not available with this accesory” this was really bad news for me as now I need an extra cable to charge it or I have to take it out and charge it separetedly which was not the idea. So, make sure the charging option is available with your receiver. My receiver is a pioneer DEH-P5950IB.
