Kingston’s standard Secure Digital (SD) memory cards combine massive storage capacity, blazing data transfer rates and ironclad security in a memory card no bigger than a postage stamp. Kingston’s SD cards are ideal expansion option for the smallest of devices including MP3 players, digital cameras, PDAs, smartphones and more. For added reliability and durability, the solid-state SD memory cards are built of non-volatile memory components and have no moving parts. Quickly and easily download and transfer digital files between various digital devices, a computer and the Internet. An optional SD memory card reader makes it easy to upload files from an SD memory card to a computer.

1 Star Misleading 60 cent add
All the way through to the final click this item is being shown as being purchased for 60 cents. When you get to the final window, after entering all your credit card info., it is full price, the same as if you bought it on the Kingston site. Very disappointed in this ad and the time I took to go that far.

5 Stars Nice!
It arrived in a good condition. Works well

One more thing I like about Amazon:

When I bought a memory card on ebay for Sony Cybershot W150, they sent me a Chinese product. I have bought 2 SD Cards on Amazon so far, 4gb and 8gb, and both of them are Japanese products. If I need one more, I’ll definitely go to Amazon.com! :)

5 Stars Awesome
Got it at a GREAT price, fast shipping, put it in my camera and works fine.

4 Stars Perfect for its job
I know bigger cards are available, but I have several older devices (Wii, digital camera) which don’t play well with higher capacity SDHC cards, and for those devices these inexpensive cards are great. The only reason for not giving the fifth star is that these do not include a case - but then again you get what you pay for, and for $6 I can’t complain too much.

4 Stars Lots of capacity, great price
I use it with my Canon A590 camera. It’s reliable, too. One caveat, however, I recently bought a used San Disk universal card reader, which will not recognize this card at all. (It has no problem with my 1 and 2 GB cards. I think the problem is that this is a SD card and the reader isn’t equipped for that.

Kingston Technology’s Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) memory card is designed to meet the storage demands of high-quality digital still and video cameras and other high-resolution image recording devices.

With an 8 GB capacity, the SDHC card offers larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. With a Class 6 rating, the card delivers a minimum data transfer rate of 6 MB per second for optimum performance with SDHC devices.

For added reliability and durability, this solid-state SDHC memory card is built of nonvolatile memory components and has no moving parts that could wear out or break. Although identical in size to today’s standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. Fully compliant with the new Secure Digital Association 2.00 specification, this memory card is backed with a lifetime limited warranty.
