1 Star motorola h350 bluetooth headset
I don’t like it - I had other motorola bluetooth models in past that were much better. This one takes several steps to link to the phone each time I want to use it (instead of just being able to press one button on the headset). Also there is background noise sometimes. Also, voice activated commands often don’t work.

2 Stars Meh… just ok for the money
The product is cheap, and you definitely get what you pay for. The volume on my unit was just fine for me. I did receive complaints from the people I was calling saying that they couldn’t hear me which was a pain. My biggest complaint however is the way it “wobbles” on my ear. Since there is no ‘inner-ear’ speaker, it’s free to move around if you suddenly turn your head when changing lanes on the freeway or any other quick jerk. This was the biggest problem for me because I used it 80% of the time on the road, and when I need to change lanes I don’t want to feel like my headset could fall off.

2 Stars Basic headset, questionable volume.
A basic headset, probably overpriced as originally listed. I received mine as a “free” incentive with a phone purchase some time back. Was worth that price!

But beware - this headset has inadequate volume with Samsung phones. While it pairs fairly easily, the sound volume is such that it is unusable.

4 Stars Good seller
The seller is very understanding and patient, I would definitely buy from them again. Good product. Very fast shipping.

5 Stars I like it
I wanted a headset for my ps3/cell phone, so I started shopping around. I usually don’t buy third party equipment for video games, but I read that the PS3 headset really didn’t do anything special and it was a quite a bit more expensive. I went with the Motorolla because of the price and because it has decent battery life and bluetooth 2.0.

So far everything works as expected. It was a little difficult to set up (even with the instruction), but once I got the hang of it (and understand what all the different beeps mean) it’s easy as pie. Sound quality is better than I expected, and I have never had any problems with people understanding me.

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Works well but can get noisy
Item works great as long as you are in a quite room. Could use some noise cancellation because it picks up everything and the person you are talking to will get a lot of background noise.

Purchased to use while driving and as long as the radio is off the conversation is fine.

3 Stars Poor fit and volume
This headset has a few nice features. It’s simple, installs easily and has a spiffy little carrier/charger.

Sadly, as previously stated by others it does not fit well into the ear canal. Neither of the 2 size “buds” seems anatomically appropriate. It barely stays in your ear and falls out easily which is very annoying.

Volume, especially when driving, cannot be raised enough. My hearing is unimpaired and I still cannot raise the volume enough when ambient sound is present.

Frankly I would not recommend this product because of these 2 issues, especially fit.

1 Star Terrible technology - duel microphone
This bluetooth works better than most in extremely loud environments. But the crazy thing is that it works worse than any bluetooth I have had in quiet to normal noise environments. The duel microphone technology works well if there is a lot of noise, but in a quiet environment the sound gets softer and louder while speaking. Also, in a quiet environment the beginning and ending of the sound is cut off - similar to voice activated recording devices. Motorola did not finish this product on the inside. But it does look cool!

5 Stars Excelent product
Excelent product, great price, fast delivery thak you.

Excelente producto, Gran precio, rapido envio, gracias

4 Stars Motorola H12
After using several other Motorola and Jabra headsets, I was intrigued by the H12 after seeing it and then checking out reviews on it.

I was immediately pleased by the clean sophisticated looks. It charged rather quickly, and seemed to hold a charge very well even when using it for long periods. I also liked the different charging stands that came with it. Very sophisticated as well. The headset and charger base have magnets on the back that automatically stick them together with a tiny dot of an LED that shows the charge status. There is a covered case version and a desktop version. Both look extremely sharp.

The sound is very clean and crisp on the receiving end with adequate volume range, though I’ve noticed that when there is an excessive amount of road and/or radio noise that the outgoing transmission has some slight static or garble (from the feedback I’ve received); especially when both parties are using bluetooth headsets. Not any worse and certainly better than a lot of others, but I was hoping it would be substantially better due to the extra anti-noise technology that this is supposed to have.

The buttons are fairly easy to operate and the commands worked seemlessly without any problems. Occasionaly, it was a bit tricky at first when trying to hit both the up and down volume buttons at the same time for the mute function, but that was very minor. All of the other functions are very simple. I like the fact that there is a simple & crisp feeling on-off switch at the top of the unit which makes accidental power-on’s a thing of the past if you decide to place it in your pocket.

There are several different size rubber in-ear pieces to fit various sized ears. I could have used one size larger than the largest included pad, but made due with it. My only other complaint was that the clear plastic around-the-ear hook piece did not work well with my ear size, so I took it off completely and just use the H12 with the inner piece holding it in place.

All around, I like the clean sharp looks, the crisp call sound and easy-to-use call functions and buttons. It’s fairly light, very comfortable, and the charge lasts a long time.

I’d definitely give it a high recommendation.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset
This is a great headset. It has clear quality sound and is so easy to wear. The price was the best I’ve seen.

5 Stars Great headset.
I ordered one of these from verizon back in 2006 when I got a new phone. My girlfriend was looking for a new bluetooth headset so I checked out amazon for different sets. I’ve been really happy with this one. Picks up voices great - and it is half the price here as on Verizon’s page. So I ordered this one for her, and she too loves it.

The only draw back is that it is great at picking up other ambient sounds. Tough for others when you use it in crowded areas or where there is loud ambient music.

4 Stars Fantastice product, works great.
Fantastice product, works great, better than my last Motorola Bluetooth. Had to mark it down though since the up/down volume button was hard to locate while on the ear.

4 Stars Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset
Overall I was very happy: Downsides is: item was a little loose over the ear and a bit difficult to hear at times. Stick to calling to loud talkers. This was my first bluetooth device and it was very simple to hook up. Very easy to use.

1 Star background noise
I have bought the same product before - and haven’t had such a bad piece. May be this is was an anomaly - but it just wasn’t of any use - because there was so much noise - and the sound was so shrill that you cannot understand what the person on the other side was saying.

4 Stars iPhone 3g and iTouch with D650
I purchased this item for my 3G iPhone and when it arrived I could not get the audio to play through the S9-HD. What was odd was that the S9-HD track buttons would operate the tracks but the audio would only play through the iPhone’s speaker. After two calls to Motorola and one call to Apple, there answer was that 3G iPhone could not play audio through the D650 to the S9-HD headset. I thought this sounded like a crap answer so I started looking around the forums. After an hour or so I found a forum that suggested I call Motorola and tell them I had an iTouch and not the iPhone 3G. That was the trick. The Motorola Rep told me that Motorola had improved the software on the D650 and they would need to send me a new one. The new D650 arrived today and after pairing the headset and D650, the music sounds great through the S9-HD. I have now used the headset for a few phone calls and while the call quality is not great it is definitely respectable. One thing I dislike about the phone feature is that the audio is mono and not in both ears. As a few other reviews have noted, the battery is not replaceable and is estimated to be good for 400 charges.

4 Stars Motorola S9-HD Headset is awesome!
This headset is awesome. I use it with my Blackberry Storm and also my iPod Touch. I would recommend this to my friends. No more getting tangled up with my earbud cords on my treadmill or my eliptical trainer.

1 Star Warning
Motorola does not have the courage of Warning the millions of owners of the ITouch 2nd generation on the Motorola web site that this headphone is not compatible.

YOU WILL HAVE TO SEND IT BACK FOR CREDIT.

I also believe that Amazon should mention this on the description as a courtesy to avoid all the frustration of trying to get the headphone to communicate with the ITouch 2nd generation and to no avail.

Too bad, the unit looks good and very comfortable.

Shame on You Motorola and Apple for making this ITouch incompatible with all accessories that are not Apple designed…the first generation did

5 Stars Truely amazing sound
I bought these to replace a Motorola HT820 set of headphones. Amazing sound. I’ve paired these with my desktop, and they work great with the Toshiba BT stack. I mainly use them with my HTC Touch Pro Phone from Sprint. This combo with Mort player is worth the price. Makes those airplane trips much more enjoyable. Battery life is about half of my old set but the sound quality is better.

3 Stars Great headset, bad adapter
The headset works and sounds great however I had to contact Motorola support and get a replacement D-650 adapter as the one that shipped with the headset was an older model that Motorola confirmed would not work with my iPhone as it was advertsed to do. Motorola support was excellent and replaceed the unit at no cost immedaitely.
