5 Stars Best batts ever
I have gone through quite a bit of other AA rechargeable batts from other companies and i was looking for something which was actually good. I got fed up having to charge batteries over and over after storage. Thanks to “Nlee the Engineer” review i decided to go with these batts.
It was the best decision i ever made, i use these batts in my camera and my R/C transmitter.
I would highly recommend these batteries to anyone.
4 Stars What’s not to like?
Nothing’s more annoying then getting your batteries home and then waiting forever for them to charge, so I appreciate that these come pre-charged. Yes, they lose a little charge as they sit on the shelf, but there’s enough in there for you to use them, and if you decide to charge them it will take less time. You might consider getting a good charger, and by good I mean one that can not only charge but re-condition your rechargeable batteries. I got the La Crosse Technology BC-900 AlphaPower Battery Charger and it’s fantastic.
5 Stars Great way to start your GREEN life!
HI,
I can not get into much detail about the electrical side of things as it relates to these batteries…but I can tell you that my decision to purchase them was purely based on reviews that I read on Amazon.
I have 3 kids and lots of toys that use a lot of AA batteries. I have’nt really looked into rechargeable before, but in lieu of the current situation in regard to global warming and all…I figured I would get a starter set and see how they work.
Yes they do come fully charged….but I believe it is about 80% based on other reviews.
We used the first set in a remote control car and it lasted a good 1hr and 40 minutes until the drain set in. Back to the charger they went…. I did not time how long it takes them to recharge…but when it was done my son was able to use his RC for about 2.5 hours without an issue. This same toy would go through 4 regular duracells in about 40 minutes….so I am already saving money and recovering what I spent on this set. There are more on the way…
Great starter kit to get into rechargeable…great value…and overall friendly to your wallet and the environment.

5 Stars You get a lot in a tiny little package
I have three (3) sets of Sanyo Eneloop AA four-pack batteries, and now a four-pack of AAA. I have found that the are perfect for digital cameras, remote controls, and many of my child’s toys and games. The best part has been the ability to easily and consistently recharge all of them and reuse over-and-over. If you are not using some form of rechargeable for your most used batteries (AA and AAA, maybe 9V) then take a long look at Sanyo. They have been in the business a long time.
The only downside is that some devices may show a low battery indicator due to the difference in voltage (1.5V versus 1.2V). However, they will work just fine. Be sure to get a quality ’smart’ charger in order to protect your investment.
5 Stars amazing batteries
have only used these a few times so far, but they work wonderfully. they powered my fujifilm s700 camera for several hours without ever dieing. they seem to hold their charge very nicely as well.

5 Stars love my Small wonder
It is really a very convient product. can carry in purse and have it handy for all events…easy to do self portraits…I love it.
4 Stars Wonderful to carry around in your purse
I love my new lil’ toy that I can stow it away in my purse and have it ready when I need to capture something my babies are doing (ages 7,3,2). Its real easy to use and has expansion memory so you don’t have to worry that you don’t have enough recording time as long as you have memory chips. The only down turn is that it needs batteries if it had come with its own rechargable battery that would of been awsome. Thats the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
5 Stars What a great little camcorder!
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who was always begging to use our nice, expensive camcorder to record the many activities, plays, antics, that she and her friends came up with. This little gem has been a hit with her and the rest of us! What a great value!
4 Stars works for me!
easy to use, takes good pictures and videos, easy USB hookup and the downloads look and sound quite good and it fits in my shirt pocket. And larger memory is cheap - so I can shoot till the batteries go flat. I just keep a pair of extra rechargables handy.
1 Star Beware of Cracks!
Well I was super excited to get this after doing alot of research, but I just put the second one back in the mail for return. Both came with a crack on the housing of the camcorder near the monitor. Small, but looks like it could get bigger, and is cheaply made. Maybe a bad batch? Just interesting that both had an identical problem. glad I ordered through Amazon cause return was easy, so long as I GET MY REFUND!

When used in combination with Nikon’s latest digital SLRs, the D70 or D2H, the SB-600 supports Advanced Wireless Lighting as a remote Speedlight that can be positioned as one of multiple remote flashes to significantly extend creative possibilities. To assist in such situations, the Speedlight SB-600 also has a readylight located beside the LCD on the rear panel that can be easily seen from a distance. The SB-600 can also emit an audible alert for further assistance. 5 Stars Review Nikon SB-600 Speeblight Flash
Nikon SB-600 Speedlight Flash has make it fun while being experincing it and well and entertaining experiences with it.
4 Stars Nikon Flash
Enough power for most needs. Put off by bad reviews on the sb 900 so this was my next logical choice considering the price difference. Very satisfied. If Nikon comes out with a better unit this will make an excellent auxillary unit.
5 Stars Jewel!
You spend all this money on a DSLR and lenses and accessories… But you are still using the built-in flash??!?! You will NOT truly see great results without a quality flash. This flash with Nikon’s Creative Lighting System is incredible. It rotates on multiple axis and even has a built-in diffuser. If you are deciding on the SB-400 (don’t unless space is a REAL issue) or the SB-800 (great only for master/remote situations but a little slower than the SB-600) stick with this.
5 Stars Excellent Flash
The Nikon SB-600 improves your flash pictures in dramatic fashion over the built in flash. Anyone who takes a lot of flash pictures should invest in this flash.
5 Stars Unlimited possibilities, professional lighting.
Owning a flash like this does absolute wonders for your images. With the ability to angle the flash in almost any direction in relation to the camera solves any difficult lighting situation you might have. Get two or three more, and and set them up wirelessly to create your own portable studio. Great product!!
Garmin Etrex Venture HC GPS Receiver
March 19, 2009 by DigiBliss · Leave a Comment

An essential for any outdoor excursion, the Garmin eTrex Venture HC helps you navigate through the toughest terrain. The unit is equipped with a high-sensitivity, WAAS-enabled GPS receiver, which locates your position quickly and precisely and maintains its GPS location even in heavy cover and deep canyons. The advantage is clear: whether you’re traipsing through thick woods or strolling near tall buildings and trees, you can count on the Venture HC to help you find your way when you need it the most. At the same time, the Venture HC’s easy-to-use menu lets you create and view waypoints (up to 500), save and view 10 track logs, access setup features, and more. It even offers 24 MB of internal memory and a detailed basemap, so you can load waypoints and routes from the included MapSource Trip & Waypoint Manager software and add map detail from Garmin’s entire line of optional MapSource mapping products.
Besides appreciating its small size, outdoorsmen will also be happy with the Venture HC’s unique button layout, with five buttons located on either side of the unit. The benefits of this design are twofold: First, the Venture HC is a breeze to operate with just one hand, and, second, with the buttons on both sides of the unit, the bulk of the front is dedicated to the 256-color, sunlight-readable TFT display. This makes it easy to distinguish map details regardless of the time of day.
The Venture HC’s basemap, meanwhile, contains lakes, rivers, cities, interstates, national and state highways, railroads, and coastlines–in short, a host of helpful details for your outdoor adventures. Other details include an IPX7 waterproof housing, a built-in patch antenna, a USB interface, a hunt/fish calendar, sun and moon information, and a geocaching mode. The Venture HC, which runs for up to 14 hours on a pair of AA batteries (not included), measures 2.2 by 4.2 by 1.2 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a one-year warranty.
What’s in the Box
eTrex Venture HC, basemap, MapSource Trip & Waypoint Manager software, USB cable, wrist strap, quick start guide, user’s manual.

3 Stars no map
great product with the exception that it really doesn’t have a map. It comes with an extremely basic map, nothing like what is in the pictures so expect to pay an additional $100 for a decent map either for hiking or roadways. Other than that it was extremely easy to use and accurate
5 Stars First GPS
Works great, very accurate. Instructions were not very good… a bit more of a learning curve than I expected.
4 Stars Almost Perfect for Geocaching
We bought this GPSr specifically for our new hobby, Geocaching. Since we got it a few weeks ago, we have found almost 30 caches (shooting to get 8 more tomorrow since the weather will be nice). We are able to plug this GPSr in and download coordinates directly from the site(Geocaching.com).
The only bummer has been that it bounces around when we are in area with alot of cover. Hopefully this doesnt get too much worse when there is more of a canopy from foliage.
You cant upload any of the additional details about the caches to the GPSr, but that’s OK because we like to get comments (hints) from messages other GC’rs have left on the site.
In summary, for the price, this has been an awesome GPSr for Geocaching. If you expect a GPSr to take you exactly where the cache is, then maybe this isn’t for you. But we like the hunt, and this device has gotten us from 2 feet, to 19 feet (under heavy cover) from a cache. And we havent failed to find one since we got it.
5 Stars Awesome unit! Great buy
I have this unit and a Garmin Etrex Legend CX and this one is so superior! It keeps the signal under tree cover and is very accurate. I use it for geocaching and it is wonderful! Easy to use and afforable-what could be better. I wish I had two of these!
4 Stars New Hampshire Bound
We are moving to rural New Hampshire, surrounded by magnificent woods. This Garmin product will help us while hiking and getting back home. Really quite invaluable!
